Studio Reno - Before & After

For those of you interested here are a few pics of the Messagemark Studio renovation before and after! It was a fun project to work on with my best buddy Denis. It certainly kept the renovation bug at bay, well, for a few months anyway! I thrive on projects like this!

Packaging Spotlight

I spotted this wonderful retro inspired packaging on The Dieline. Designed by an ingenious Australian firm Studio Bomba, this packaging would look absolutely gorgeous in my 1950s kitchen!

Success in Copenhagen...

Our distributor Lauren from The Green Suitcase did a fantastic job of promoting Messagemark at the CPH Kids Fashion Fair in Copenhagen last weekend. Absolutely loving the card display made out of wood, with the cards pegged to string!

Lauren is now getting ready for the next trade event... Formland on 20-23rd August.

Yay! Finally our new range of Wall Art has made it to the Messagemark online shop.

The affordable range of Wall Art from Messagemark is designed to fit perfectly into the *RIBBA 30 x 40cm and 21 x 30cm frames from IKEA. Available in birch, walnut, black, white and silver, there are many options to suit your own interior colour schemes.

We've made things easy - simply place the print behind the matt board that comes with the *RIBBA frame and voila, instant art!

it's a sweet thing

Lollipop Markets is making it's debut in Adelaide this November. Three lovely work at home crafty mums have joined forces to create what will be a wonderful shopping experience. (Just in time for Christmas too!)

Messagemark are thrilled to be accepted as a stall holder so please put it in your diaries and lolli-pop in to say hi! The market will run every few months at The Shores Function Centre, West Beach, Adelaide.

CPH Kids Fashion Fair

Our European distributor The Green Suitcase has a busy week ahead representing Messagemark at the CPH Kids Fashion Fair in Copenhagen.

The four day event is the new shining star in European fashion fair heaven. CPH kids is presenting the most ambitious brands in the industry.

We are very excited to be represented at this event and really can't wait to see the response to our range of paper products.

Messagemark are sharing a stand with the Organic & Sustainable Market this weekend at the ecolivingexpo. Showcasing sustainable living for the future, the ecolivingexpo aims to educate and encourage the general public to embrace Eco Living as the emerging lifestyle trend.  The ecolivingexpo is a highly focused event and as a brand is positioned as “the umbrella“ event providing credible, professional and trusted information on Sustainable Living.

X-Banners - great for markets

I just picked up my new x-banner from Office Works, Port Road. I am really impressed with these banners so I wanted to share this idea with all my market friends. This is the second banner I have had made, and they are ideal for markets or used as a backdrop.

They come with the stand that folds down into a bag (also included), or you can attach velcro on the back top and bottom and stick directly to a panel.

The best thing is the price... $97 which includes the bag, x-frame, and printing. All you need to do is supply a file 800 x 1800mm (no bleed) and they do the rest.

I will have it on show this weekend at the Eco Living Expo, Wayville Showgrounds.

my lovely nonite owl

My new "Nonite Owl" from little luv completes the picture in my current RETRO OWL window display. Little Luv lovingly makes a beautiful range of handmade toys made from gorgeous retro fabric. Each character is completely unique.

The cushion behind nonite owl has a cool story too. It was a Birthday gift from my sister Lynne, and was originally a prop from the Australian TV Program McLeods Daughters!! Lynne was an 'extra' in the show, however she actually found the pillow at a local garage sale in the Barossa. So I now own something famous - well kind of!
