HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I must say I am really looking forward to this new year ahead. 2009 held many personal challenges for me and even though at times things were quite difficult, I still tried to be as grateful as possible.

Eileen Caddy writes in her book Opening Doors Within (Findhorn Press): "Give constant thanks for everything. There is much to be grateful for; open your eyes, look around and see how blessed you are. As you do so, you'll find yourself filled with an overwhelming feeling of love and gratitude, and the whole of life and living will take on a new meaning."

It's true, a little bit of gratitude goes a long way towards a more fulfilling life and will help smooth the path as you pass through difficult times.

My Christmas

Right - so this year we are celebrating Christmas at our place. The funny thing is I am only now working out what we are going to eat! Instead I have been busy making paper stars, bonbons and wreaths, and planing the table setting. At least it will all look good!

Better get into the recipe books now, only 2 days to go!

Beautiful Ball of Light

Isn't this just beautiful? This is my husband's stunning work. I love seeing the "Ball of Light" images in a collection like this - the colours work so well together.
