Cure4CF Rally BBQ
Cure4CF pulled together their culinary skills and catered a delicious BBQ at Mt Alma Mile and Tarmac Rally in McClaren Vale Adelaide on 29th-30th May.
The generosity shown at this fund raising event was unbelievable. Total money raised was over $10,000. A massive achievement...and on top of the money raised we were effective in raising the profile of Cure4CF for future benefit.
Thanks once again to the volunteers and everyone that helped out.

NZ Cake
My friend Iris made Denis and I a special "leaving the country cake" in the shape of NZ using her secret Austrian cake recipe. Considering we are leaving tomorrow we unfortunately have to eat the whole thing today! It is very yummy thanks Iris.

"Twinkle Twinkle Little Car"
It is time to say goodbye to my much loved Smart Car "Twinkle". She has been a faithful friend over the past 4 years. I did look into taking her with us but it is way too expensive to import a car into Aust.
Here is Denis with her at our temporary residence in Auckland - The City Life Hotel. We have been lucky to keep her till tomorrow (Sunday) and we are leaving on Thurs, so it will be buses and trains for the next few days. Actually, Denis and I are both looking forward to the Auckland public transport experience.
Goodbye Twinkle. xxx

Boxes Gallore...
95 items/boxes have been packed up ready to ship to Adelaide. It will take approx 6-8 weeks for it to arrive so I am kind of forced to have a break - not such a bad thing considering the huge effort to pack up our lives in 6 short weeks. What a mission, but we have made it. House settlement today, very sad leaving the MessageMark Studio and our home, but we can always recreate it wherever we are! One week to go till we fly out.

Change is Good...
I am personally about to go through some lifestyle changes which includes moving myself, my hubby Denis and MessageMark back to my home town in Australia. I have lived a wonderful life in New Zealand for the past 10 years, but I have a calling to now be closer to my aging parents to support them for a bit.
The good news is MessageMark will continue to operate both in NZ and Australia, however the cards won't be "Made in NZ" anymore, rather "Made in OZ".
Once we make it to Adelaide it will possibly be up to 3 months until I am fully operational again - waiting for my equipment to be shipped across, and finding new suppliers etc. I will make contact with everyone once things are all go again to accept card orders.
In the mean time I plan to update the blog with entertaining updates of where we are at with regards to the big move...Just click "Relocation" under quick search on the left to see all entries.
